                    Ghana Launches National Anti-Corruption Strategy Working Group


On July 5, 2025, President John Mahama inaugurated a high-level working group to lead the implementation of Ghana’s renewed National Anti-Corruption Strategy. The group, chaired by Mr. Julius, is tasked with coordinating efforts to promote transparency, strengthen public institutions, and reduce corruption across all sectors.


The strategy focuses on key reforms such as enhancing oversight bodies, improving public access to information, enforcing ethical leadership, and tightening financial accountability.



President Mahama described the initiative as a critical step in restoring public trust, while civil society groups praised the move and called for political independence and proper funding for its success.

The government promises regular updates to ensure transparency and public engagement throughout the process.
